Just on the outskirts of Kathmandu, only an hours drive away will bring you to Sundarijal, the starting point of this trek, where there are sparkling waterfalls flowing down through an Oak Forest. This trek offers the experience of being in a typical Sherpa village. It is a golden chance to learn about life in real Nepalese villages.

If you choose to link this trek with the Langtang valley you will have the opportunity to visit Gosainkunda, one of the holiest lakes in Nepal, where thousands of pilgrims throng each August to bathe in its cold and spiritually refreshing water.

Hari, our guide tailor made our trek to fit our time scale, always taking into consideration our ability and the need to acclimatise prior to ascending to the base camp. Both Hari and our porter Sudhir, would ensure that we had the best accommodation and food available. Sudhir would be up before us each morning and greet us with a refreshing and warming cup of tea, followed by a bowl of piping hot water to enable us to wash and shave. Emphasis would be always given to our welbeing.
